Attorney Stefany Miley Tewell, admitted in Nevada and Texas, is a highly accomplished legal professional with nearly three decades of experience. Her dedication and exceptional legal prowess have solidified her position as one of the most accomplished individuals in the industry.

For sixteen years, Stefany served as a District Court Judge in Las Vegas, Nevada, presiding over both civil and criminal divisions. Her remarkable judicial career includes serving as an alternate justice on the Nevada Supreme Court. Additionally, Stefany was the first judge to grant equal adoptive rights to same-sex parents, paving the way for greater inclusivity and equality in the legal system. In 2005, Stefany was the first judge to perform a remote trial, providing access to the courthouse for a bedridden litigant, showcasing her innovative approach to legal proceedings. Prior to her judicial tenure, Stefany was in private practice for eleven years as a highly regarded trial attorney.

Throughout her career, Stefany has been recognized for her outstanding achievements such as the distinction of being the youngest Trial Court Judge ever elected in Nevada history, having been elected at the age of 33. Additionally, in 2016, Stefany was honored as one of the Top 100 Women of Influence, further highlighting her impact on the legal community.

Stefany's legal expertise is evident in her involvement in several landmark cases that have shaped the legal landscape. Her representation in significant cases such as Daisy Trust v. Wells Fargo Bank (quiet title action), Nevada Power Co. v. 3 Kids, LLC (determination of fair market value of condemned property), Amaral v. Shull (breach of contract and fraud), Flores v. Las Vegas-Clark County Library District (preemption of firearms regulation), Pizarro-Ortega v. Cervantes-Lopez (computation of damages), and Torres v. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. (post-judgment compound interest) showcase her knowledge and expertise in various areas of the law. Stefany is also a trained mediator with over 40 hours of training from the National Judicial College, further enhancing her skills in conflict resolution and alternative dispute resolution methods.

Stefany earned her Juris Doctor degree with honors from California Western School of Law. Prior to her law studies, she completed her undergraduate education at Texas A&M University, graduating with a BA in Journalism and Marketing.
