Julie A. Funai is a Senior Associate attorney in LGC’s Las Vegas office, where her practice focuses on arbitration and trial litigation in both state and federal courts throughout the State of Nevada. Ms. Funai handles various personal injury, premises liability, and contract law matters. Born in Southern California and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Ms. Funai earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University in Business, with a Specialization in Marketing. Ms. Funai earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University.
Ms. Funai has dedicated her legal career to civil defense litigation and serving our local community. Ms. Funai has prepared and offered continuing education classes to the real estate community focusing on contract and liability issues. Ms. Funai continues her endeavors in continuing legal education as the current Vice President of the Las Vegas Defense Lawyers. Ms. Funai has also served the Las Vegas community with her involvement with the Nevada State Legislature, tasks forces, and non-profit organizations through offered testimony, speaking engagements, writings, and charity events benefiting women, children and families.
